Disrupt the tax refund industry through digitisation
VAT refunds in the UK have traditionally been a 100% paper-based process. This is time-consuming, complicated and - from a consumer satisfaction perspective - incredibly frustrating. Our challenge, in partnership with HMRC was to digitise the entire customer flow from spend to refund.

With engagement with HRMC, we worked to provide a 90% digital solution for all VAT refunds processed. The ultimate aim of this project was to eliminate paper entirely, moving from paper receipts to electronic e-receipts.
